Size: 17 1/2” wide X 61” long (44.5cm wide X 155cm long) after blocking - contains instructions on how to add length if desired
Gauge: 11 1/2 sts and 10 1/2 rows in hdc on US K/10 1/2 (6.5 mm) over 4” (10cm) each after blocking.
Materials:
Yarn: 820 yds of Caron Cotton Cakes by Caron (60% cotton/40% acrylic; 530yds/485m; 250g/8.8oz per cake) or an approximate equal amount of any worsted weight yarn. The sample was made using colorway Calico Flowers.
The cotton/acrylic blend of this yarn, combined with the slightly oversized hook, gives this wrap its fantastic drape and makes it suitable for both summer and winter use.
While any worsted weight yarn may be used, attention should be given to the makeup of the yarn and/or the hook size in order to maintain the drape. (Tip: If you are finding your work is too stiff, try going up a hook size to create a fabric with more drape. This will, however, require a bit more yarn to complete your project.)
Hook: US K/10 1/2 (6.5mm) or that required to obtain gauge
Removable Stitch Markers: To mark the right side of the work
